Group status: Stunned by result! Love the book but not our favourite. Lacks originality in our opinion. What do you think?

We are two classes of 10 and 11 year olds who very much enjoy reading and have loved this opportunity to shadow, judge and predict the Greenaway shortlist. We are very proud to say that one of the judges, Ferelith Hordern, used to be our local librarian!! Most of us have met a few writers, poets and illustrators in school visits or on trips - including Georgia Byng, Valerie Bloom, Roger Stevens, Nicholas Allan, Sophie Herxheimer, Quentin Blake, Jacqueline Wilson and Malorie Blackman - and there are a few of us who are keen to become writers, poets and illustrators too.
