Aisha & Hafsah, Motley Moss

Salt to the Sea

I enjoyed reading Salt to the Sea because it made me feel calm and intrigued and I also liked the way that the POV is constantly changing thus leaving me on the edge of my seat and wanting to read more from the specific character's perspective.

I believe that the plot of the story was extremely eye opening about the specific events based around the war that commenced in 1945. I think that the target audience are people interested in history, and it continues to educate them further.

In conclusion the book is a view into the history of the world war from the eyes of young people, which may contribute to their findings and opinions of the past.
