Heather, Pipers Shadowers
This was my favourite read out of all the Carnegie books I have read as I loved the emotion expressed in the book, especially as it didn't have a typical "happy ending" which also gave it a slight plot twist at the end. I also loved the character development in the book as it made the reader feel sympathy towards the characters. Also I think that the book challenges the quick judgements we make about people and highlights the fact that this is wrong and we shouldn't blame someone we don't really know. Finally, I like how the story was narrated by a child, Annabelle (the main character).
