Paris, THE BOOK OF SECRETS 8
Even though the title was "Rook" I don't feel like this book was really about the rook. I am only left to assume that it is metaphorical or symbolic for the characters struggles. However it was a very touching story. Including bullying and mental illness into an innocent book about rescuing a rook creates a really interesting dynamic. The book kept me interested throughout and I didn't seem to care about the shortness of it. I do wish that the book was longer because it ended on a bit of a cliff-hanger which did slightly annoy me.
