The Bone Sparrow
"The Bone Sparrow" is a powerful story about a boy named Subhi, living in the terrible conditions of a refugee camp. He is treated unfairly and has barely enough food and and water to survive. But then he meets Jimmie, a girl who lives in the world outside of the fences of the camp.
This is a story of friendship and loss, where people are desperate and struggling to live.
While reading this book, I could barely put it down because with each new chapter there comes a new twist and there are lots of cliffhangers where you need to know what happens next.
I recommend this book for people who like to read stories that aren't all happy and are set in a real life situation. Overall, this book is beautifully written and very emotional. I really enjoyed it!
