Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone
Jim Kay has used very bright colours to represent magic things such as the ghost. Dark colours however are used to show evil, mystery and mischief. The pictures are drawn using the description J.K Rowling gave rather than based on the actors. He uses a range of different materials to accomplish his images. He uses different angles to give the impression as if we are in the scene. This book was marvellous.
