Sputnik's Guide to Life on Earth
I chose this book because of the cover and the blurb.
The cover looked like it was going to be adventurous and the blurb made it sound mysterious.
In fact it was, for the first one or two chapters. It was funny and the main character Sputnik was very cheeky. Then when I started reading chapter three, it started to get quite boring and confusing because there were too many people who were called Mellows and that meant I did not understand the book as much as I would have liked to. However, the adventures are unique and each chapter is very different, so you could experience a new adventure each time you read but there wasn't any big plot twist.
I have only read about ten chapters and honestly I don't really want to read on. It isn't very exciting.
This is really just my opinion as some people might like it, maybe a younger age than me as it is quite childish, or perhaps this style would appeal more to a boy.
The books that I especially enjoy reading are magical or Mystery books as these really make me want to read on.
This book wasn't bad it's just that it wasn't my type.
I give this book 3 stars.
