Sirin, Plashet School
The Smell of Other People's Houses
This story is about the intertwining of four completely different lives. The author fitted in elements of 1970 Alaska into the book and so I learned things about that time. As I read the first few pages I instantly became close to the characters; the author made them very believable. At first it was a bit hard to keep up with all the different characters but quickly I became familiar with all of them. I feel like this story could have been further extended as I would really like to know what will happen to the characters as it ended will all of them together. But I guess the author just wants to leave that up to the readers.
