Salt to the Sea

Salt To The Sea is a really good book, even though it is quite sad. It is a book about refugees who travel miles to get away from the Soviet Army and board a ship that carries around ten times its capacity. The book has a theme of helping and sacrificing yourself for others. The book is written in four points of view and each of them makes a sacrifice or helps others before themselves. The Book is based on one of the most tragic events in world history: The sinking of the Wilhelm Gustloff. I loved this book and couldn’t put it down!
