Sputnik's Guide to Life on Earth

This book is a humorous but childish read. There are aspects of comedy and generally silly events throughout. However, this is not enough to offset the weak and cliched premise of the book. The events of the book are confusing and one is left not really feeling satisfied with how the story ends. This book is good for younger readers, who will be able to simply enjoy the comedy scenes without thinking more deeply into the aspects of the novel which simply don't make sense. Overall, I did not enjoy this book personally, though I can see why it would appeal to other, perhaps younger, audiences.
