Rayha, Eltham Hill - Mixed Minds
The Bone Sparrow
This amazing and interesting book gave an insight into the life of a refugee. The book follows a nine year old boy named Subhi who only knows the inside of the fences of the camp. I think this is a must read and the topic it looks at is important. The book is tragic yet very endearing. There is only one bad side of the book in my opinion which was the fact that the mother took a backseat and seemed weak but we (the reader) were given no insight into why. I would say this book is more for an audience of 13+. All in all I would say it is an 8/10.
