Millicent, Malvern St James MSJ

Wild Animals of the North

I like the book factual wise but I feel that you could just take pictures of the animals in their natural habitats.

I like how the illustrator has used different shapes to draw the animals in a different perspective which I think is unique. The pictures are well drawn and use a ray of colours.
The text could be slightly bigger and easier to read. The author could also use different fonts throughout the book. The title stands out a lot and the cover is really eye-catching. However I think it could be an enhanced photograph to portray the animals.
The drawings are quite scattered throughout the book, yet there is an average of two pictures per page.
I don't find this book memorable and my conclusion is that Dieter Braun should at least use one photo on each page. I think my conclusion would differ if it was a fiction book. I would only recommend this book for factual reasons but nothing else.
