The Wolves of Currumpaw
The Wolves of Currumpaw is a beautifully illustrated book. Using only crayon, William Grill has recreated the Plains of New Mexico perfectly. He has used red and black to make flashback seem like reality and used the technicolours perfectly to make the plains come to life. The slightly blurry image is used very well to recreate the heat haze of the plains. I can't recommend this book enough to people of all ages as the story it tells is one of the most powerful I've heard.
