The Wolves of Currumpaw

The wolves of currumpaw is illustrated by William Grill. It is about the king of currumpaw, the wolf Lobo, who has evaded capture many times.
The book has a very touching story line and the illustrations express this phenomenally. The images are in the style of the indigenous people of America. this fits the story very well and is quite abstract but this, I feel, brings out the best of the book. William Grill has used monotone for flashback and full colour for the main story.
I recommend this book to 7-11 year old as it would be sinister for a young child to read but is a bit simple for a teenager. I rate this book 8.5/10.
