Salt to the Sea
This was an outstanding yet very tragic book. It is told through the eyes of four young people who are escaping from the Russian army from Poland and Prussia into Germany by boat. It is rich in descriptions and feelings, both very well portrayed. I cannot think of any negative notes to add. I would give it 10/10. I enjoyed reading it even though it is very sad.
