Wild Animals of the North

Wild Animals of the North is a spectacular, non-fiction book containing exquisite, geometrical illustrations. The sheer originality of this book is outstanding; the cubic, extraordinarily in depth illustrations alone are enough to stun me completely. The illustrations in this book are broken down into different and unique shapes that build each and every animal's features and bodies.
The text on each page is small and laid out in a practical way that doesn't distract from the centre focus of the illustrations. However, the text itself, although including fascinating facts, lacks excitiemen and wouldn't in my opinion engage younger reader. Granted, the text is suitable and sufficient for a non-fiction book.
I would rate this book a 9/10 because I would prefer a more interlinked storyline than an encyclopaedia but I did enjoy the remarkable illustrations
