The Smell of Other People's Houses
The Smell of Other People's Houses was not what I would call a good book at all. The fact that Alaska in the 1970's was supposed to be like growing up no where else, really did not show in the story - with the only exception being some Alaskan scenery. The plot just seemed slow and very ordinary with characters who did not seem interesting at all - unless you like books with modern plots (e.g. running away from home), I would not recommended it to many people.
