cora , Blakehill's, brilliant, bonkers, bookworm bosses!
Night shift is about where the girl in the book is depressed all day and all night and goes on for weeks. The book is written by Debi Gliori and illustrated by her too! It is different to other books because there are dark colours looking like they used charcoal. Some of the other books for the writing is rhymed and I liked that Night Shift wasn’t. I liked that the art is beautifully drawn and throughout the book there were black and white colours and then when you turned a page there was a bright orange colour. I didn’t like that at the end it ended on a cliff-hanger and didn’t know what helped her. Overall, I thought it was an alright and would recommend it to 8 to 11 year olds . I would give it a 6 out of 10 due to less writing.
