The Smell of Other People's Houses
Some beautiful writing from the author as four stories intertwine & conclude much as I predicted. The characters lacked a little depth for me, as much as I enjoyed their individual stories I sometimes couldn't remember who was who. Ruth's story was the one that engaged me most and 'the bluebells in the jar' made me openly weep! A lovely book but perhaps not a winner for me.
