The Smell of Other People's Houses

"The Smell of Other People's Houses" by Bonnie-Sue Hitchcock is about four different teens whos lives become tied together. The story is set in Alaska, in the year 1970, when America's Last Frontier was happening. This book has a very warm and home-like feel to it and shows how even the most different of lives can link to each other.
personally I feel that this story is a 9/10 as it is an imaginative plot but also keeps the scenery and aesthetic realistic. I would recommend it to people 12+ as there are some situations that younger children wouldn't get.
