The Wolves of Currumpaw

This book was about the life of a notoriously cleaver wolf which helped promote the awareness of the decreasing wolf species.
I liked this book in many ways. Firstly I liked the colours that were used, especially as they changed throughout the book. Secondly I liked the slight comic aspect of the illustrations, particularly when the point of view changed when Blanca was killed. Thirdly I really loved the way that William Grill drew so that the shading flowed and immersed.
I would recommend this story for 8 to 12 year olds as I think the subjects are quite advance. I would rate this book 7 out of 10 because at times I found it a bit boring and tedious. Overall this book was quite good.
