Saint Death

'Saint Death' is about a young man that lives in Anapra, Mexico and he has to try and save his best friend's life.

At first he is stuck what to do but then he makes his decision for his friend.

Auturo (the young man) tries to get Faustino's (his best friend) money back by gambling but he has only ever played for a few pesos with people that are not 'experts' at it.

They need to try and win one thousand US dollars and it would be a tough challenge with the amount of time they have got and the amount of money. No-one knows what is going to happen.

Some of the speech is written in the Spanish way, which made it confusing and some words are Spanish.

I didn't enjoy reading this book because I found it wasn't for me and when I had to search what the Spanish words were I lost where I was up to. Also, the start was quite slow moving.

I would recommend this to children about 10 years and older as they will be able to search the Spanish words and understand the speech parts a bit more. I would give this a 2 out of 5 because it was confusing at some parts.
