There is a Tribe of Kids

This is a very sweet and warm book about a child who tries to fit in with the animals. The pictures, one showing the child trying to swim with the jellyfish and another of him striding around with leaves on his head to make them look like elephant ears, are a great combination to show that the child is searching for his home, a place where he belongs. Only at the end does the kid find his home and family.
Throughout the whole book every sentence starts with There Was (for instance: There was a parade of elephants) but everything finishes with There is a Tribe of Kids! Overall I will rate this book 9/10.
