The Song from Somewhere Else

The first page is smoky and very dark. The girl looks very sad and you can tell this because of her body. Nick is described as weird. He is big not fat and very sad. These pictures looked photographed. There is visual interpretation of music. The illustrator has used black and white pictures to show sadness. The songs are very spooky to show how the girl feels whilst she has been bullied. Also the mysterious troll. He has switched the man around so we can see black and white. He uses pencil crayons and lots of photo shop. Marks across the paper they show tension also they get darker and darker. Also there are creatures which makes you think that the monster is going to come out with of the paper. The pictures are very realistic. At the end the pictures start to get lighter to show that the monster has started to live. It has black white and smudgy charcoal marks. There are a variety of different sized pictures. The music is expressed visually. Also there is lots of darkness which makes lots of tension and makes you scared.
