The Stars at Oktober Bend
This was an interesting book about a girl named Alice and her relationships between her and her brother, a boy named Manny and her grandma. I liked how it gave different characters point of views like in 'The Salt to the Sea' as it meant you could understand different opinion. I think throughout the book some things are kept as a mystery for the reader to work out for them selves or imagine as it didn't give a full explanation of what happened in the past but everything else was really descriptive. I think the book started off quite mellow and then gradually got more exciting and gripping especially at the end when something dangerous and tragic happens it has a lot of suspense.
