The Smell of Other People's Houses
This book is about four very different peoples worlds coming together in a thrilling novel. Ruth loves being acknowledged, one side of Alice wants to leave home but the other side can't. Dora wishes no one would notice her and Hank wants to run away from home. I really love the way this book can relate to so many people and can really touch them. It is a moving novel that represents so many backgrounds. It shows that this writer has great empathy and understanding for different people's lives. It took me a little while to get into the book as it is a little slow to begin with but then I was captivated. A really great book; I would love to read more from this author. I highly recommend it.
