Sophie, Sir John's Shadowers
Sputnik's Guide to Life on Earth
I felt like this book was aimed at people younger than me, as it was a very easy read and had lots of pictures inside. The storyline was original, and the author managed to make it funny as well, so I still enjoyed it. Alongside the funny plot, I think there is a good message hidden. Everyone sees Sputnik as either a different person or dog breed, although he is just the same person. This could imply how different people think of a person differently. Sputnik is aware of this, so is ignoring others' thoughts and just being himself. It wasn't the most exciting book I've ever read, as it was a bit young for me, but I would still recommend it to others, especially to primary school students.
