Wolf Hollow is an exquisitely written book. From the first line ‘The year I turned twelve, I learned how to lie’ I was immediately drawn into Annabelle’s world. Each character had their own story, my personal favourite was Toby. He showed the effects of war on the people who fought, and how quickly people judge each other on their looks, and how they look on the outside but not how they really are on the inside. I wasn’t sure if I was going to enjoy the book at the beginning, but as the story unravelled, I couldn’t stop reading. I recommend this book.
