Kit, TallisCarnegie2014

When I first looked at this book cover I thought that it would be boring and unsatisfying to read, but as they say "Don't judge a book by its cover!".So I opened it and started to read...I liked the way the book went straight into the action and "sort of gripped me".I wasn't very impressed at first, but after reading a couple of chapters I really started getting into it.Initially I found that the story line was quite unusual and hard to understand. There are many unusual names and words that are hard to conquer with pronunciation and comprehension. However as the story moved on I really couldn't stop myself from reading a chapter or two each night.I really started to realise the sci-fi concept of the book and how futuristic it is.I couldn't help but notice that some of the names are like birds names, for example..."Raven" and Zen's second name, "Starling".Also I like the idea of swarming bug humans, the Motorik and the houses being made with plant DNA. Overall I've really enjoyed this book and would recommend it to many people.
