Lyla, Plumcroft Shadowers
I really enjoyed reading this book because it is really adventurous and the author persuades you to carry on reading! I assume throughout the book it carries an important moral; never give up on your hopes and dreams. I felt heart-broken for the family because war had started and the father died. Soon enough they had to leave their old lives behind and create new ones in a country far away as possible in the mountains. I think that the mother was really courageous because she took risks on her own when anything could have happened to the family. My favourite part was in the middle when they had to hide in vans and had to travel for days without enough sleep because they showed no hesitation, as they knew what they wanted and they weren't going to stop trying to achieve their goal.
