Beyond the Bright Sea

Beyond the Bright Sea is a good book but it would be a 6 out of 10 because for most of it I didn't know what was happening. At the beginning it starts with Crow a girl who washed up on a Island just a couple of days old. She was brought up by a guy called Osh and a woman called Miss Maggie. She doesn't know where she came from or who her parents are. There was a fire one day on a Island called Penikese and she finds out that her mum was called Susanna and her father Elvan. They had to send her away because in Penikese it was a disease environment. Her first name is Morgan but Crow is all she knows. Osh supports Crow but also doesn't want to because he doesn't want to let her go because she is all he has and he's brought her up as his own. There's jewelry that her mother left her buried because she knew that she would come looking for her. She speaks to the doctor and the nurses about her birth and she finds out that she has a brother called Jordan which she hasn't found yet. It's a good book but I wouldn't rush to read it again.
