The Smell of Other People's Houses
Overall I found this book very enjoyable. It was fascinating to see how four people's lives who have such different stories began to intertwine together. Each character was significant and added something to the story whether that be Dora's inspiring story of standing up to her abusive father or the three brothers who were brave enough to leave their home. This story was very touching, particularly the union of everybody together at the end.
This story does an excellent job of raising awareness of such intense topics and creating a vivid picture of life in Alaska. This book was a great read.
