Railhead was a fascinating adventure about a boy called Zen Starling as he travelled around the universe carrying out a mission for the mysterious 'Raven'.
Set in the future, with trains with feelings and bugs that thought they were human, Zen's world was incredibly interesting and well thought out. However I found it was a bit confusing, especially at first, which made it hade to get into the story. Once I got past that confusion, I did enjoy the story, even if at times I wasn't sure where the plot was going.
I would recommend this book to anyone that loves sci-fi, or just different, unique settings, as for me, it was the world-building that really made me like this book.
