Anna, Ansford Academy

Wolf Hollow

Overall, I think that Wolf Hollow was an enjoyable book. The style of the book was successful in conveying what life was like at the time it was written. The language that was used was appropriate and the characters behaved in a way that wouldn't be seen today. The plot included a number of twists that made the book highly enjoyable to read throughout. Events were unexpected and sudden which enticed me to read on, I was never bored of reading! Character descriptions were in detail but could have been built on. Annabel's character was described in great detail, whereas her mother's character was not built on much at all. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys drama and mystery and anyone with a short attention span as it never gets boring. I would consider putting this forward for the winner however I have not read many books yet so do not have much to compare it to.
