Ella, Sutton Courtenay
This book is probably the most moving book I have ever read because of how thoughtful the writer was when she wrote it. It doesn't go in to much detail about what happens inbetween each main event but it still works in perfect sequence. The plot is about a little girl who is a refugee and her mother, her brother and her need to travel as far away as possible from their country. The pictures are so detailed and relevant to what is going in the story they really help tell it.
