Sputnik's Guide to Life on Earth

"Sputnik's Guide to Life on Earth" is an enjoyable enough book, but not without its flaws. It starts off moderately well, giving us minor backstory on who the characters are, but there are some stints at which it does get quite slow, sometimes brushing over the more interesting aspects of the story. However, it does pick up later on and is quite an interesting read. I felt, however, that the ending was very convenient and a bit forced, for having such severe Alzheimers that he would suddenly just remember all of the important stuff just before the big, "Huzzah, here comes some deep ideas!" section.
Overall, I would say that this is a great book for casual and younger readers, but if you are looking for a deep, thought-out book, I don't think you'll find it here. I rate 4 stars out of 5, because it definitely was an enjoyable book, just felt a bit slow/forced at times.
