After the Fire
This book is a wonderful novel about Moonbeams life, it involves what life was like before The Purge and The Fire. It shows how Father John ruins everybodys lives.
I love this book because it shows how traumatic Moonbeams life is once she is told everything she knows, cares about and believes is wrong. I also like how she tells her therapist, someone she does not trust, things she was not allowed to think about during time at the Base.
Will Hill is a brilliant author and the way he describes Moonbeams life before the fire makes it seem like you were there watching her .
Moonbeam is a fantastic character and the way Will Hill writes her makes her guilt and lies understandable.
I would recommend this book to people in years 7 to year 10 and I would give this book 9/10 stars.
