Emily, Stockport Grammar School

Wolf Hollow

I think this book was really good. It was original, and the story was very interesting. It had some unexpected events ( like Toby and Betty's deaths), but they all made sense in the story. The story was mostly believable (I think the parents would find out if they had a man hiding in their barn because a lot of the food had gone missing), but overall it was well-written. At some points in the book I couldn't put in down! The descriptions of the settings and characters were very creative and I could picture them in my head perfectly. The ending was okay; it didn't leave too many unanswered questions, but in general the book was really good.
