Wolf Hollow

Wolf Hollow follows Annabelle, a girl living in the remote countryside, and her struggle with the truth after the cruel Betty disappears and the blame is placed on Toby, a disturbed, slightly different man. This book was interesting as it dealt with lying and when it is acceptable to tell one, and also how people can judge others based on appearances and assumptions. It was also interesting reading about life in the American countryside during World War Two and details about life on a farm etc. However I felt Annabelle was a boring and unrealistic main character, who was hard to root for, and there were quite a few parts of the book where I wasn't really engaged with the story.
