The Stars at Oktober Bend

The stars at oktober bend is a compelling story about a girl in a hellish incident that changed her life. She was harshly affected, so much so that her words are jumbled but what comes out are beautiful, lyrical poems. Then, another character is introduced that flips the whole story line and hope fulfills the book.
In this book, there was a lot of adventure. It was gripping and heartwarming.
I believed everything about the characters and it's a very well written book.
I found the book a little difficult to understand at times because parts are from 2 aspects and there are no capital letters - but for a relatable reason.
I really enjoyed reading 'the stars at oktober bend' and I would recommend it to a more mature audience of about 13/14+ yr olds and I would definitely read other books from this author.
