The Smell of Other People's Houses

I found this book interesting as it made me more knowledgeable about 1970's Alaska.I feel "The Smell of Other People's Houses" gives a detailed image of how teenagers lives were during the statesmanship of Alaska.
This book is unique because the author creates four different characters that link together in many different ways. One thing that I didn't like or understand was the change of first person accounts.
Overall this book is great to read and I would recommend it to pupils my age or above.
