Mrs Capell, The King\'s School Worcester
Salt to the Sea
There are many things I liked about this book - the characters and their stories, and also learning about a major tragedy I had no previous knowledge of - quite shocking in itself. But I also enjoyed the structure of the book - alternating between barely more than a page each time of the four main characters perspectives. Towards the end when the major tragedy unfolds I found parts of the story desperately sad and moving to read. A very worthy contender for the medal.
