I originally thought that this wouldn't be the book for me, however I was surprised when I was finished. Beck led a very unique and interesting life, especially compared to now, however it was still so realistic and easy to believe. It was very gripping but could get a little confusing at times. Despite this, the main storyline was clear. I think that some areas could have been a little more descriptive, especially the scene setting and emotions. The emotive areas seemed to improve when Beck met Grace, but I think that overall they could have been better. Also, Grace wasn't really in much of the book. When she did come into the book, I was about 3/4 of the way through therefore I don't think she is a main part. I think that instead it was Bone and Irma because they were the ones who Beck felt most happy with - however I still think that Grace helped determine Beck's ending. On top of this, I am happy that it has an age restriction because some areas would definitely not be suitable for younger readers. Overall, I enjoyed this book quite a lot and I do recommend it. :-)
