Sputnik's Guide to Life on Earth

From my experience of this book resulted in being a

good read for myself as the humour and intriguing plot

captivated my mind and made me want to read more. I enjoyed

the humorous and intimate tone of the story that was being told

by Prez a boy who lived with his granddad but has now

moved in with a new family. The main story line consists of him

meeting someone called Sputnik, introduced as Mellows, who

appears to those around him as a canine apart from Prez. He

soon realises that Sputnik has come to pursue his a mission that

involves Prez, and the adventure begins from there. It is a

charming book with funny characters and fantastical scenarios,

and is certainly a book I would recommend. If only some

explanations of the plot were not so vague, though.
