The Bone Sparrow

This was an eye-opening book as I had never thought about what it was it is like to live in a refugee camp. 'The Bone Sparrow' shows what life in those camps really does to the soul. It was heart warming to see friendships blossom and made me understand how fortunate we are to live with freedom. It explores the fundamental relationships between friends in testing times. This book is necessary to read, in a world needing more compassion in times of crisis 'The Bone Sparrow' will open your eyes to the cruelty we can prevent.
