Sputnik's Guide to Life on Earth

Before I start, know that I did not enjoy reading this book.
Sputnik's Guide To Life On Earth is a story about a boy named Prez. Prez's granddad is "taken" away and he has been forced to live in the Temporary. One day he goes to live with a family on a farm in the countryside. When one day, Prez decides to open the door to the sound of a ringing doorbell, that's when his life changed forever.

This book was quite a struggle to read, even though it is quite fast paced. This novel often strays away from the plot and feels as if the writer did not know what they were doing. It was written in a very odd style that took me quite a while to get used to and for the first 30ish pages, I was confused of who was speaking. The book feels very childish and was quite boring to read.
On the other hand I feel if I would have read this when I was younger I would have loved this book.

The way I see it is, I would have enjoyed it a lot more if this was an animated film.
