Wolf Hollow

'Wolf Hollow' is a very interesting book set on a farm.

The main character is a girl called Annabel who is just an average girl living on a farm with her parents. Life was going fine for her until a girl called Betty moves into the neighborhood and everything just goes downhill for Annabel. When Betty had been living there for a while she suspiciously goes missing and everybody thinks that a man called Toby is involved in the disappearance.

I think that this plot is rather great for many reasons. The first reason is because this is a book where it gives you so many questions that you are forced to read on to find out what happens. However it is not forced in a bad way it is probably in the best way possible. The questions that I asked myself were things like. Why is Betty so mean? Has she had a bad past that's made her this way? and Was Toby involved? These question were just some of the questions that made me want to read on. I think this is a great technique by the author and she may have not done this on purpose a she said in a interview on her book "I do not know how things are going to go at the start I just know when it comes". This shows that she didn't know how it would end up until she finished so it may have been by accident but it's great either way

However evidence that shows she did do it on purpose is that she may have just thought when it came to it and she could have said to herself 'I'm going to add this into the story', and if I'm honest I think that she did it on purpose as she is a very skilled author as she has written books like 'Those who favor fire' and the upcoming novel 'Beyond the Bright Sea'.

Another reason why I think this book is great is because in the end there is no bad guy/girl and I think this is quite typical as pretty much every book has a happy ending but although it may not be unique by having a happy ending I don't think that anybody would want a sad ending because I'm guessing it would upset a lot of people.

I don't think that there was anything bad about this book - some people may say that nothing is perfect but I think this book breaks the rules because it's just perfect in every single way because and I quote "it just has a great recipe"

In conclusion I would definitely recommend this to everybody in my class and in the world as it's not too tricky to read and it's not too easy to read so I think both boys and girls of any age would definitely enjoy this and I think I might just get this book myself.

I give this book a definite 5 stars out of five or even a million stars out of a million and I will definitely be reading this again at home.
