Sputnik's Guide to Life on Earth

In full honesty, I have enjoyed the book very much in the perspective of the reader and I have especially enjoyed how the book is structured and how it includes so much light-hearted comedy that is targeted at children and it implements some features from other well-known films or books to make it captivating and funny. One example of this is how the little girl gets hold of a real life lightsaber and destroys everything and makes this comedic, and most people know what a lightsaber is and how it is related to being a killing machine, but it is in the hands of a 5 year old. I fell in love with how unique the storyline was, because an alien that looks like a dog doesn't come round to your planet everyday! The only thing that was quite strange with the book was how it was aimed at 7 year olds due to the fact that the story is very complex and takes a few twists and turns that younger readers may not be able to keep up with. Other than that it has been a very enjoyable book to read.
