Samuel, Royal Readers

Salt to the Sea

I recently finished the book 'salt to the sea' and i was truly amazed by how Ruta Sepetys portrayed the story by writing it from different points of views to allow the reader to sympathise with the protagonists and understand the emotions that they felt. I found it extremely sad that such an amazing story as this that was based on is not more well known as the Wilhelm Gustloff was such a vile and grotesque disaster, and i feel like people need to be more aware of refugees in world war two. I highly recommended this book to anyone who is looking for an adventurous book but is prepared for heartache and tragedy.
