The Bone Sparrow
An interesting insight into life as a refugee in a detention centre. Life for the hero Subhi is rough, unrelenting and tough and yet he has a rich interior life which helps him rise above his daily difficulties. He is an admirable character with little adult support or structure - perhaps a little too worthy to be believable? A good read but quite depressing!
